Delhi protest - Nirbhaya
I hope you guys have witnessed the agitation against A Woman being raped and hospitalized in Delhi, in TV.
Its such an unusual scene played in the history of Indian media, I
couldn't believe my eyes for some time. Is it my India, which is coming
out, united against illness of our own society and the failure of
government to control the same.
It is unusual for many reasons:
First, India, atleast the Modern India ( :-) ), the India wihch I
experienced, has never came out for any cause or against attrocities of
government on its own people.
Till today whatever agitation, I have heard of, are either
political or politically motivated. If not political, it surel ywould be
for/against some relegion or relegic views.
You should have seen the people, who are on the road today, they
are mostly educated and youth of India, which feels let down by the
Government of Delhi and also the value system we have been adopted by
the society for these many days.
To all the arm chair analytics, don't you think the agitation
against corruption wihch started 2 years back has something to do with
this. Dont you think, Agitain against Corruption was the first of this
kind of real agitation, for the people and by the people.
Dont you think, instead of just picking the small wrongs or
difference of openions towards the people who are agitating, we should
support the overall cause. Even today we may not be in 100% agreement
with lot of views expressed by the people under agitation, but I am in
complete support with the agitation for the cause. Let's agitate and
agitate peacefully to show our dis-agreement to the people in goverment
and the people around us who doesn't hesitate to commit this kind of
henious act. Let's agitate and show the . Agitate and let's agitate with
peace, for the peacefullness of society.
Society which doesn't agitate will go stale and start decaying.
For god sake, we can't be 100% inline for everything in the life in
our own family, still we support each other and we express the
differences whenever necessary. Next time when you feel to pickup the
small issues and dwell on that instead of supporting the overall cause,
please stop and think, cause is for more important than the views of
individual. If you believe in the cause, just support the agitation the
way you like, but not just by analysing on an arm chair :-)
